While there is no power in Lakewood, the campaign to Defeat Obama continues

This brings back some great summer memories

This past weekend there was a celebration of the Battle of Queenston Heights from the War of 1812.

For several summers during high school and college, I worked at Old Fort Niagara in Youngstown, NY.

Here is the uniform I use to wear.

THIS MAY EXPLAIN A LOT

Clinton, being Clinton, had plenty of advice in mind and was desperate to impart it. But for the first two years of Obama’s term, the phone calls Clinton kept expecting rarely came. “People say the reason Obama wouldn’t call Clinton is because he doesn’t like him,” observes Tanden. “The truth is, Obama doesn’t call anyone, and he’s not close to almost anyone. It’s stunning that he’s in politics, because he really doesn’t like people. My analogy is that it’s like becoming Bill Gates without liking computers.”

In 2008, Obama really didn't need to connect to the voters. He just needed to lay out a vision which in turn was the opposite of the previous 8 years of the George Bush Presidency.

However, this year Obama has had to connect with the voters and he is struggling.

The polls are showing that and the best example  of that disconnect was the terrible performance at the debate two weeks ago.

However, this article lays out something I have thought may explain Obama's problems with creating the momentum he once had in 2008. He really does not like people or can not relate to them.

Perhaps tonight's debate may turn the momentum, but if it doesn't the speed of the Big Mo may just end up running Obama out of Washington.

How Bad was the night for President Obama

From one of Obama's biggest supporters in the media - Andrew Sullivan

10.29 pm. How is Obama's closing statement so fucking sad, confused and lame? He choked. He lost. He may even have lost the election tonight.
