Who Will it be?

After nearly 8 years as the Shepherd, Pope Benedict has announced he will step down. As was the case during the last conclave, the speculation will be that someone from the African continent or from South America will be the next leader of the Roman Catholic Church. However, one of Benedict's goals was to bring the Europeans back into the fold, so quite possibly another European could be appointed. As for the nearly 200 million Catholics in the US, Canada in Mexico, there would be a very small chance for an American prelate to elevated. We will know the answer in Mid-March.
