So it begins

As I have said in other posts in order for Obama to pay for some his plans the military was going to have to take a hit.

Rep. Barney Frank is quoted as saying that the Defense Department will have to cut spending by 25%.

In a meeting with the editorial board of The Standard-Times, Rep. Frank, D-Mass., also called for a 25 percent cut in military spending, saying the Pentagon has to start choosing from its many weapons programs, and that upper-income taxpayers are going to see an increase in what they are asked to pay

My guess this only the start of the downsizing of the US Military.

I am sure there will be some gazing by the Generals and Admirals as to who will be left standing from those who might have supported Obama or McCain.
